Most brides-to-be search for the right dress, flowers and cake for the big day. Adrienne Bailon is not most brides. She's dated a Kardashian, starred on the Disney Channel and now she's looking to put some of the past behind her prior to tying the knot.

According to The Insider, the former Cheetah Girl is undergoing laser tattoo removal by PicoSure to erase her ex-boyfriend's name from her backside. Back when she was dating Rob Kardashian from 2007 to 2008, the pair decided to get matching ink. Kardashian, who still has his, got "Adrienne Bailon" just below his ribcage.

"PicoSure uses supershort pulses to apply pressure to the tattoo and it breaks apart."

Bailon's ink can be seen in earlier pictures when the couple were still a hot item. However, recent photos, taken after just two sessions of laser tattoo removal, show a faint black blur where the tattoo used to be.

Unlike traditional thermal methods, PicoSure uses supershort pulses to apply pressure to the tattoo and it breaks apart. The pieces become so miniscule that the body absorbs them, Jeremy Brauer, New York City-based dermatologist and an aid in Bailon's removal, told Allure.

After the first treatment, the name became illegible. A subsequent visit transformed those remnants into a little bruise-like patch. Laser tattoo removal results may vary from client to client, meaning that others hoping to rid themselves of guilt-ridden tattoos might have a different experience from Bailon's.

"The number of treatments varies based on the location on the body, ink density, and age of the tattoo," Brauer told Allure.

The bride-to-be admits that the tattoo decision was a bad one. US Magazine quoted the star's conversation during her daytime talk show "The Real."

"Now that is a ratchet tattoo. I made a very bad decision. Don't follow my example."

As Bailon prepares to walk down the isle with hubby-to-be Lenny Santiago, a music executive at Roc-A-Fella Records, she's making a vow to herself. Never again will she tattoo a lover's name on her body, she said on "The Real."
