By now, it's pretty evident that Kylie Jenner has a penchant for ink. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has been seen sporting a number of designs as of late – but these celebrity tattoos have all washed off. The fact is, Kylie can't get any permanent tatts until she turns 18, unless Kris or Bruce Jenner give her written permission. Still, that apparently isn't stopping her from inking up her pals.
According to New York Daily News, the youngest Jenner girl was recently hanging at a recording studio in Hollywood with her friend Miles Richie, son of Lionel. Her older sis Khloe was also there with new boyfriend, rapper French Montana. Also in attendance was tattoo artist John Petro, whose client list includes Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy. He was planning to give Richie some fresh body art when Kylie stepped in. With Petro guiding her, she etched her initials on Richie's hand. It goes without saying that this was a major risk seeing as the Jenner starlet has no experience with the tattooing process. However, there's another issue at hand as well. TMZ reported that the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health prohibits anyone under the 18 from participating in this procedure, and Kylie is only 16 years old.
So that means Jenner's attempt at artistry was technically illegal – and she could face a fine for trying to help out with the inking. In fact, TMZ noted that she could be slammed with up to $1,000 in charges if the authorities pursue the misdemeanor. Not only that, but Petro's career is also in jeopardy. The news outlet explained that there's a chance Petro's license to tattoo could be suspended.
There are a lot of reasons why someone might experience tattoo regret, but this case is more complicated than simply an impulsive decision – it has legal implications as well. Maybe the littlest Jenner will learn her lesson from the experience that it's best to leave inking to the pros.
