It's not uncommon to see matching celebrity tattoos. Many love-struck stars have gone under the needle to show their commitment to one another – for some, this decision proved positive, while for others, it led to some serious tattoo regret after a split. Now, the Jolie-Pitts are following suit.

Putting it in ink
While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may not be married yet, they are reportedly planning to tie the knot in the near future. Not only will they be making it official with "I dos," but they're also planning on getting tatted up to prove their eternal love.

According to Radar Online, the A-listers are already scheming even the smallest details of their big day. One aspect of their impending and long-awaited nuptials that they're particularly excited about is their matching ink, which sources told the news outlet will serve as a permanent reminder of their union. Not only will they get the same design, but they plan to get it in the same place on their bodies. They still haven't decided exactly what the tatt will be, however.

"Brad really wants to do something special, and frankly, a little weird to mark the occasion," the source told Radar. "Don't expect it to be something that's visible when they're out day to day. They might just acknowledge to the press that they did it, but keep the actual content of the tattoos as their love secret."

Growing collections
Of course, this will not be the first time that either celeb has gone under the needle. Jolie already has more than 12 pieces of body art, including a tiger on her lower back and the
geographical coordinates of where their six children were born etched on her skin. Pitt, meanwhile, had his lover's birth date emblazoned in Khmer on his stomach. In fact, Radar noted that the "12 Years a Slave" Oscar-winner already has at least nine tatts, including a design inspired by the famous Ötzi the Iceman on his left arm. Radar also revealed that Jolie has played a significant role in her partner's penchant for ink. The source explained that ever since they got engaged in 2012, Pitt's tatt addiction has grown.

There's no telling what the power couple will decide to get for their matching inkings, but apparently, they're putting a lot of thought into it. Radar reported that Pitt has been seen in his L.A. office with tattoo magazines for inspiration. He's even been leaving them out to see if any designs seem to pique the interest of visitors in the lobby.
